This is based off the anime series "gate" but obviously it's not set in Japan but in Australia. "Gates" as they are called, are portals to a fantasy type full of magic and medieval characters  like from a fairy tale. In this story we follow An Australia defence fore commando (ADF) a young 23 year old corporal named Dave ORyan.
