MacKenzie has dealt with a messy breakup. Many people do, but an old friend from New York comes in to give him a new companion, which after several attempts, don't really land. MacKenzie may joke through it, but he knows it hurts on a level he can't quite find. But the pain finally goes away after someone he barely knew finally comes to fill the void.
