Alpha Flight: Weapon X

In an effort to ramp up national security and maintain compliance with the Sokovia Accords, Canada initiated Alpha Flight- a special program akin to The Avengers Initiative. Among the ranks is a technologically outfitted war hero, a mythical beast, a demigoddess, super-powered twins, and a shamaness. Though individually powerful, their ability to function as a team will be put to the test when an evil as old as the earth itself awakens from a millennia's old slumber. In the face of devastatingly powerful mystical forces, will their combined powers be enough to save the entire planet from a fate worse than death? Or will the primordial terrors lay waste to the planet, reclaiming it as their own and enslaving all life as we know it?

This is an origin story for Alpha Flight. It takes place between Avengers: Divided We Fall and Avengers: Whatever it Takes.
