By going to Hogwarts,he hopes he can finally get his father's eyes on him. But things were out of the hand when he got sorted to Slytherin. He ge to meet Scorpios Malfoy and he begins to be the ear of his problem with his father. With Scorpios help,he begins his plans to take his father's impression. When his plans don't work, he begins to fall into the depression and keep it secret from everyone even his older brother and his best friend. But his head of house seems to have noticed something with one of his snakes. Snape begins to help Albus and keeps it secret as requested from his snake. Albus wasn't sure why but he feels some sort of connection with his head of house. Like he feels completely safe with him. As for Severus, he also feels some sort of connection with the young Potter. Like he wants to take him in his arm and keep him safe. Sure he is one of the Slytherin and he has always been protective with his snake but this is a different kind of protection. Will Albus finally get his father's attention? Will Severus manage to help him? Does Harry have a good reason to act like that towards his son? Does Harry Potter hide something from everyone? This is my own version of the next generation's first year at Hogwarts. I wrote the majority of this story long before The Cursed Child came out, so it does not follow a similar plot line. Albus, Rose, and Scorpius struggle to be friends as they are sorted into different houses. Draco and Harry meet again, and this time, things are different. Scorpius explains how his mother died. Pansy Parkinson's son always seems to get in the way. Lucius Malfoy has never been more evil. I've worked extremely hard on this story, so I hope you read it. Enjoy!
