Popular
"Why were you with her at a party?" Amara asked anger coming off of her as she started into my being. A shiver went down my spine. I've never seen her this mad. Never. "ANSWER ME!" She yelled making me jump a bit before my own anger came out. "Why would YOU wanna know? It's NONE of YOUR business!" I yelled back as both of our anger now filled the room. "It IS my business, wanna know why?" She asked walking towards me at a slow pace until we were inches apart leaning into my neck. "Because your mine." She whispered into my ear. *********************** The popular, the nobodies, and the nerds. The three groups in high school or as we like to call it hell I mean some people thrive in this place but me? No. I'm in two of those groups the nobodies and the nerds but even though I'm in two groups I still get one thing in common. The bullying. But I guess a little confrontation which I hate would give the bullying a whole new meaning.Complete
The Fire Burning Within
Amara has been subjected to a life of pain. First, the death of her mother and only surviving family, and then becoming trapped with an abusive, alcoholic husband. She finally manages to escape, falling into a world of magic and adventure that she never knew existed. Will she embrace her destiny and fight for her new life, or will everything be taken away from her once more? "After what seems like hours, the ships dock on our shores, and I spur Ormr into a dive. As men rush the shores, we coast above the ships, letting them see us for the first time. Many men freeze in their steps, while others attempt to ignore us, and continue charging. Once we're low enough, I whisper to Ormr, "Burn it all, girl," and flames pour from her mouth, devouring the ships below us. Let's see them leave now." ------------------------------ This is my first story, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating these characters. #Strongwomenawards2020Complete
