Almost five years have passed since Chikako's death. Two years ago her tailed beats just disappeared from the village, never to be seen since. A girl stumbles into the village with a mask and a sword at her hip. She claims to be Chikako, but they all saw her die. Didn't they? 

An uprising from a long forgotten clan has begun. They target numerous villages in all different places. Killing and pillaging wherever they go. The village hidden in the leaf is one of many who form a team to take down this mysterious clan whose power seems almost supernatural.

Who really is this person who claims to be their beloved friend who died for them and what is her connection to the rouge clan?
