Ender Luis Howin, is the first dhampir ever existed. He is the symbol of unity between humans and vampires. He is in no position to be a failure. His failure will equivalent to the downfall of the existence of vampires-and now dhampirs. Due to his symbolism, he became someone who always follow commands and only wanted what's best for them.
However, he is raised alongside Ratesha Sapphire Bathory, the daughter of the people responsible for his existence. She is an opposite of him. She is someone who take risks, someone who she shouldn't be. She is the first and only female dhampir. Her existence is an anomaly to the existing dhampirs.
Time comes and Sapphire broke free from the chains of being called an anomaly. Her freedom costs more than she is expected and now Ender's making a choice to have her back. How will Ender respond if he himself is also yearning for freedom?
