The Distance Within

Why get into something you know has a countdown already ready? Why build up hopes and dreams when you know they will never be accomplished?

They say home is a person, more specifically the heart of a one, will life's innocent plan take a harsher turn than intended? Was that a final goodbye, or does their story hold more to it? They also say if it's meant to be, it'll be...but is it really?

Evelyn Young has finally been accepted to the exchange student program that would change her career forever, and it did indeed change her life, however not in the way she anticipated.

August Evans, misunderstood guy, self loathing spitted in him like a fountain, self destructive thoughts have always lived in his head, tattoos were his coverage to old and fresh yet forgotten scars except nothing was ever be able to cover the ones engraved on his heart all that until...

He likes to believe he's changed, likes to believe he's at a better state of mind. However, that same coverage is the reason these wounds were to this day fresh and open.

This is the story of two once broken souls, with a single past.
