Y/N didn't want her life to end. She wanted to survive.
She was left for dead in the Maze; the endless twists and turns a guaranteed death sentence. Fortunately for Y/N and to the surprise of both the Creators and the Gladers, she beat the odds.
Newt didn't want his life to continue. He didn't want to survive.
But, just like Y/N, he made it back to the Glade but remains trapped within the Maze's walls.
She needs stability. A person to lean on and keep her secure. An anchor within the wild storm she's found herself in.
He needs a spark. A flame to keep him warm and alive in the wake of the harsh world around him.
The arrival of Y/N forever changes the dynamic of the Glade. Is she the missing piece they've needed, or is she nothing more than another pawn in the Creator's games?
