COMPLETE - Threa is a descendant of a long line of Sorceresses, currently living in hiding, confined to their mountains. In order to expiate a crime she committed she was sent undercover to work for a renowned scholar of the Academy's Division of Tradition and Heritage, the esteemed Kasos Belras. Notorious for its dismissive attitude towards women, the Academy is one of the most hostile environments for Threa. But after the discovery of a mystical artefact stuns the academic community, it is up to Threa and her newly appointed guardians to find the others like it before they fall into the hands of the Six Sorcerers who rule the planet. If they do, then all Sorceress Houses will be annihilated.
This story is a reverse-harem, high fantasy novel heavily inspired by Ancient Greek mythology and religion. The themes and characters of Greek myth are changed here to meet the demands of this original story. I have also drawn from other myths, primarily those featuring vampires, and dragons, among others. Book 1 deals more so with these motifs, while Book 2 features other mythical beings like satyrs and centaurs.

"The curse entailed that only the blood that sought yours, can free you of the curse, until then you shall be asleep." Icarus smirked at her words, he knew where this was going as she continued, "Because your blood is-" "Poisonous and repulsive." She nodded. "So, it's unbelievable that she was the one whose blood sought yours, a human, but it did, or perhaps it was your blood that sought hers...," she mulled over it. "But it's wrong, against the natural-" she observed his gaze. Talking about some natural order of the universe was not something that would befit his ears, given that he was the very example of the abomination formed against the natural laws and order of the blood. ~~ No one knew who he was, or where he came from? But he did, and he conquered all the existing realms, hidden and not so hidden from the human world, and built his kingdom upon the ruins of his enemies. Yet, he remained a pariah. Always was. Always will be. He was Icarus. The Monster. The Legend. The Evil. The Pariah. ~~ Everyone knew her to be a scared little kitten. She looked like one too with her snowy white hair, cerulean blue eyes, and a questionable fate. ~~ What was supposed to be a ridiculous adventure, suggested by her equally ridiculous brave friend turned her life into a whirlwind of crazy and bloody, when she stumbled and accidentally awakened the sleeping, ravenous, and absolutely psychotic monster, Icarus. What made her the lucky woman to jostle him out of his centuries of sleep? As a thanks, she was rewarded with the title of being his most beloved SLAVE. Dive into their journey as we unravel their ribbons of fate, and immerse ourselves into their complicated relationship. ~~ This book is a dark fantasy romance novel and Icarus is an original fantasy character that I created. He is not a vampire or a werewolf but something entirely new and interesting.

She has chosen him for "maintenance work" of the Four World Swords, regulators of all natural phenomena. "You are the only one who has the means to reach the four World Swords and rebalance the universe!" She said. "Is this why my father sent me to Katari monastery?" Calum asked. "I do recall him wanting you to find out what you really are, but you can do that as you save the world!" Usoara replied. Shortly after the journey begins, they are attacked by the disciple Calum duelled, complicating matters. Now, with his original plans in tatters and traveling great distances with a golden bird-man for Universe Maintenance Work, Calum hopes to find answers to what his father claims of their blood, what he really is.
