My father lost his parents, and my mother lost her sister in this conflict. My mother never spoke of my aunt after her passing and avoided discussing the matter whenever I inquired.
After the war, humanity established the Human-Alien Defense Force (HADF), with the main goal of ensuring the safety of planets and their inhabitants. When my brother graduated from school, he joined the HADF as an officer. He mentioned that his primary objective was to ensure safety and security.
