This world is vast wide, and deep,
natures treasures people reap.
People said that a time was nigh,
when people flourished in the sky,
but sometimes forgetting the beauty below,
the land stretching as far as it could go,
the breath of the wild is a beautiful thing,
great treasures, it always brings.

During my extended break from writing, I've been playing a lot of Breath of the Wild. With Tears of the Kingdom just around the corner, I figured it was a good idea to share my knowledge about the canon lore- by writing a full story about it. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝 (𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 1) The Calamity Ganon-an ancient evil which has plagued the Kingdom of Hyrule for a century-has fallen to the hands of the hero, Link, and the princess, Zelda. Though they were victorious in sealing the beast, the monstrous servants of the Calamity still linger, and the most of the kingdom was lost to time and taken over by the wild. Opting to forgo their titles and start a new life as regular travelers before starting to rebuild the kingdom, Link and Zelda begin their new life in the Era of the Wild, trying to discover why the monsters still exist. Little do they know, someone might be guiding them toward a quite unexpected trial... Hyrule; a story world above the clouds. Starfall; the surface world that doesn't believe in floating islands. Legends of cities in the sky roll across the lands, but no one really believes in them.
