"What is it?" The prince asked in a calm voice
"We've found her, sire-" the man said gasping from the mild run to get to his sire's chambers
"-where?" The prince interrupted
"In California" the man answered, not at all offended by the interruption
"Tom?" The prince called, after a minute of silence
"Yes, sire?" Tom responded
"Do you think she's doing it purposely? Hiding from me?" The prince asked
Tom merely looked at his prince, the man whom he's watched from when he was merely a babe, with pity
"We really cannot judge, sire, that is all the more the reason we should find her sire" Tom said instead, effectively avoiding the question
"Get the carriages ready, I will speak to father at once" The prince said, taking solace in the words of Tom
