Love, death, and loss are some of the constants of a vampire's lifestyle. Time is another. No matter what happens, I - like every other immortal - have to endure all the bumps in the road to get to my happy ending. And it looks like it has finally paid off...if you don't count the daily deaths, family drama, and constant reminders that there's this prophecy of our downfall hanging over our heads.

Maybe I spoke too soon about finally having my happy ending.
