Voldemort was cunning; he was deceitful and distrustful, and people died needlessly because of his closely guarded secrets. He was arrogant, yes, but he was a Slytherin - and so he set measures up so as to ensure that in the unlikely event someone discovered of his Horcruxes, they would be unable to find the last one. 

Dumbledore's machinations and meddling were not enough, and it seemed that only in death did he truly and wholly understand Tom Riddle. 

But Anastasia Potter still died, she still allowed herself to be struck down, praying and hoping that Hermione and Ron would finish her task for her. They did, but she did not see it, and once Nagini was killed by Neville Longbottom, only one Horcrux remained. But it was not on Earth; in fact, it was not even in that universe. 

Death and Magic and Gods of another Universe worked together to send Ana to finish her task. 

The One Ring needed destroying.

When 3 hobbits are set off on a quest to take a ring to Rivendell, many unexpected things happen. Said ring holds much more power than anyone could ever imagine. With two new hobbit companions, making 5, the shire-born hobbits set off for the quest to save Middle Earth, consolidating with 5 other members to form the fellowship of the ring. The original aim for the ten was to reach the wicked land of Mordor. But, their plans are easily muddled up. This book is mostly from my perspective, that of Maisy Baggins.
