When Lizzy, Elizabeth formally, gets abandoned by her parents when she was 5, she gets put in foster care. At the age of 11, a man and woman adopt her to become the sister to Sweet Pea, a soon-to-be Southside Serpent. Now that she is 15 and Sweet Pea is 17 she will become a Serpent.
When his best friends Jughead, Reggie, and Fangs come back to town after the annual Serpent initiation, will she fall for one while under strict orders from her brother for not doing so? Will she ignore them altogether?
