I recently wrote a chapter of Thoughts I Never Intended to Share titled "My Collection of Words." Like many of the chapters that preceded this one, its subject was grounded in truth. I actually do carry a small black book in my pocket that contains all my favorite quotes, some of them my own, most of them from my favorite writers. These quotes mean a lot to me. They have changed my life. So, I decided that I would like to share them here. This will not really be my own writing, more of a way that I can share meaning with the world. Please enjoy my Collection of Words.
The cover I chose is a painting by the legendary Felix Mendelssohn, a veritable renaissance man and composer of great nuance and substance. A perfect match for the words that lie within.

One of the favourite lessons reading books has taught me is that you're never alone, not alteast in thoughts and words. There are others who think like you, feel like you and react like you. It's like that sometimes, our unspoken thoughts are the bridges that connect us, even though we might be miles apart. And so, I've written them down in the hope that there are many out there in this world who would be willing to walk these bridges leading to me-the real, raw and unhidden self I am- my heart and mind and soul. Life experiences
I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. ↞↞↞♛↠↠↠ Everyone makes at least one mistake in their life; if you don't, you're not human. I just happen to be one of those people who make a lot of mistakes. To start with, there were the Rumours. You know, those things that only powerful people can make up? Yeah. Those. They were the beginning of everything that ever went wrong in my life, but also the thing that led me to the end. Although, I didn't know that at the time, so a few bruises and kisses down the line, I found myself faced with a big problem. I had to choose between three people, all of whom had been lying about everything for months. That wasn't an easy task for someone like me, but the biggest issue? Alexei, in particular, though, was just a little weasel that wouldn't leave his mind. He thought he could block him out like every other person, like every other male that made him think in such a bad way. But somehow, for the first time, he couldn't force himself to forget the expression on the boy's face when his fist collided roughly with his jaw. ~ Alexei Abbots was happy. Really, really happy. He was open, free, and accepted by the two best women he had ever met, who completely turned his life around. I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. That guy who was too damn good to be true, who was too good for me, who was too good for... everybody! You get what I'm trying to say.
