After the believed defeat of herobrine at the magical library drake, Grayson and Mia go their separate ways through their portals, but fate wasn't so nice to a certain hybrid. A little change happened during the portal journey that drake has too deal with, how will his friends react to how he has changed, how will they work together to defeat an angry empire out to get them.
(This is the first fanfic I have written in a long time so bare with me, and yes this will include some Grayson x drake))

The trio went through their respective portals, but only one made it directly home. With Grayson assumed to be in hiding, the emperor has ordered his top assassin, Luke and the rest of his mercenaries to find the Enderman hybrid to use him as bait for Grayson, but rumors from spies have spread in the palace that the hybrid is more than meets the eye. Drake struggles with keeping his mind and health in balance as a demon is threatening to take control of his body to spread his chaos and destruction. He searches for his lost friends in hopes that they will help him find salvation, but fear can block out the most begging of cries. Grayson has been laying low trying to find the drago hatchery, but complications come wayward when he discovers his friends condition and comes face to face with a problem he should have gotten rid of long ago. The past has ways of returning, and even the most dreadful of memories can become ones fate. (Warning! Jaune's transcripts are revealed early after Cardin hears him tell Pyrrha about them, with this Jaune decides to distance himself from his team so they don't get ridiculed. This however leaves him alone with only verbal support by his team and friends, and he is forced to live outside the dorms for a bit. For a few months Jaune makes himself a home in the Forest of Beacon and due to some political nonsense he has to send his weapon back home, he has to use spare weapons from the armory at the school and learn how to use them. In no time he gets better and through training he catches up to his friends, but thats not all fate has in store for him as he would become more than just a man, he would become the 'Dark Knight' of Remnant.
