Scissor Hands in my mind is an analogy for mental illness of any type. The scissor hands cut and hurt people, scaring them away from you. The same way that mental illness works, it hurts people and scares them away from you.
This story is based on the way I've thought for a long time, I see myself as a creature with scissors for hands.
(This story is also partially based on the song Scissorhands (The Last Snow) written by Motionless In White, one of my favorite bands)
