In a world where towns are separated by a fence, Bethany meets Luke, Her best friend and now boyfriend. There is only one problem.. No one is supposed to talk to anyone on the other side of the fence. In her struggle to keep him a secret the towns are rebelling against the fence and capitol. With cops all over town her goal is two things: Keep Luke and her family alive and get rid of the fence. As she becomes the face of this rebellion everything she does goes right to her family.
