Shackled to a Mirage

ilder has always been a cynic, disturbed by the darkness of her own mind. Having grown cold and distant she is about fed up with life itself. Her only friend would say she was emotionally unavailable. Constantly peering through smart eyes she takes in her dreary surroundings only wishing one day it was her chance at being saved. It seems she's been through a rough patch for years and can't seem to pull herself out. That is until her friend makes her to an event at a bookstore and she runs into Pete who she's met once before. A long line of failed relationships and miserable friendships she no longer has time for games and never gives anyone a chance figuring all too soon their actions. Trying harder than ever Pete barely gets his chance. He's never had to even ask twice before. Once he he gets his chance he won't give up on her. He does make her days may seem brighter but its only the beginning before the darkness and dead come back to haunt her.
