Jamie gestures towards the sunset, which is bathing in scarlets and golds, tinged with red and a sheet of purple just peeking from the heavens. He seems oddly mature, in stark contrast from the last time we saw him. When the silence blankets the air, he adds, "The horizon, I mean," Then he swivels on his heel and for the first time in weeks, we see him for what he is.
Narrow eyes eerily tranquil, irises swimming with a dark crimson, messy ginger hair and a tall, slim silhouette, Jamie looks devilishly handsome. But it's only when I notice the red that I become light-headed. Blood- human blood stains both his hands, and when he runs one through his hair so nonchalantly, it throws me off.
"Are we staring now?" Jamie smirks, mocking my disbelief.
He holds up his hands, allowing a full view of the now-dry substance, "Irene Derricks. 22. Female. Quite weak, easy to kill. She was also anaemic, so her blood wasn't too... Fruitful."
Jamie pauses, and for good reason.
"I just hope that... Your blood will be better."

My mind told me that it would be the best to do it but my heart told me otherwise. I mentally cursed at myself for letting this happen to her. "Elora, I know you're still in there." I said. I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
