A young girl is pulled into world she never thought was possible. She meets people from her dark past that she had denied ever existed. She left the world she was brought up in at the age of seven. Then three days before she turned ten her world was up heaved again when her parents died in a tragic car accident. Raised by her parents closest friends the Crafts she struggled to forget her parents loss and to just fit in and be normal. She finally finds her place when she revives a note demanding money or the only people she loves will die. Can she save the people who raised her for nearly seven years? Or will she lose them too? The fate of the Cafts lies solely on Kassandra, and she may not know it but the past she so desperately wants to forget very well may be her only way to save them.

Especially the Red Riding Hood bloodline. But the main character needs to know what happened. She needs to bring the medicines that her grandmother had mailed to her to bring. The grandmother lives at the OTHER side of the forest. But how did she get there? And who exactly IS the grandmother of this tale? The wolf? Or something that had to be dead, but in the end...
