Pinky Promise: The most sacred vow anyone can swear to. If broken, you must suffer serious consequences. I did a pinky promise to my best -first love- friend. I broke it because I met him, Liram. Jazon has gone, far, very far. He didn't tell me where or when he'll come back but made me swear to wait for him. I did. 5 years, I'm waiting for him. Every day I feed this hope that tomorrow, he will be back. But it's enough. I have to put this in my mind now: he will never come back, he runs away from reality, he left me. The mistake he did, I will never forget it but I have to move on. Locking all my emotions and feelings in a locker, closing it with a key, and throwing that key in my gastric acid. Focusing on her studies and finding a job in a lab. Then, he crossed her path destroying all her protections. The kind of guy that she should hate. Player, provocative, Liram is everything that her heart wants but her mind refuses. He hides something like every sexy mysterious new guy in the school. As if it wasn't enough, her past is coming back for revenge for breaking their pinky promise. She'll have to face the consequences now.

"Can we stop feeling guilty, Amelia? Guilty for all the things that weren't our fault." "We can Leo. Maybe someday." "That day isn't far off Amelia. I'll make sure of it." ___________________________________ There is a lot to think about when you find out your best friend has been raped and murdered. There is even more to think about when you're the last person she saw the night she died. But that's not what caused me to black out in the middle of a rocking party scene, surrounded by all the people I had known all my life. It was when I saw who had killed her. Hilarious, charming, the guy with the perfect quiff, and star quarter-back of the football team. He was loved by everyone. He was the guy you couldn't stay away from. Levi Harrison. My brother. ____________________________ #1 for General Fiction in The Grace Awards 2019 #1 College Romance 11/19 #3 Bullyingawareness 04/20 #2 Assault 06/20 • Started: August 2018 Ended: - January 2020 (Unedited) • WARNING: this book contains a mature theme, not suitable for all audiences.
