The first 17 years of Madison Beverley's life has been anything but happy. Through all this hardship from losing her father and watching her mother self-destruct, Madison sees that she is falling too and needs to focus on herself before she falls too far.

Broken and knocked down, she moves to a new town, moves in with her cousin and creates a whole new life for herself. One year later she is happier than she has been in a long time. She is working and making friends and has even got time to make up for missed education.
