Eddie got deployed and has been gone for 3 years. Eddie barely has time to talk to buck or Christopher. so lately buck has been feeling a bit down.

No character bashing ... they actually will deal with their issues to move past them. There is some drama between Buck and Maddie very early ... and then Buck and Eddie against Bobby...
