buck and Eddie had been married for almost five years and 3 of those years buck spent alone with Christopher. not long after buck joined the 118 Eddie lost his job at the 133 after a fire was set at the station. Eddie didn't wanna join another station at the time so he talked to buck about joining the military again. Eddie got deployed and has been gone for 3 years. Eddie barely has time to talk to buck or Christopher. so lately buck has been feeling a bit down. but what he doesn't know is that everyone is keeping a secret from him (in this fic Eddie and Shannon got divorced and she never showed up again up until she died) TW (TRIGGER WARNING) SELF HARM

Without any family willing to take him, and the police unable to locate his sister, Bobby gets clearance to give the child a roof over his head. He was drawn to the boy, and he knows he can take good care of him.
