Chrystal Ice is perfect and everyone knows it. She's beautiful, smart, and owns the school. But she doesn't want any of it. She hates that people only see who she is on the surface and never truly get to know her. She hates that they think she's perfect. Because she knows there is no such thing as perfection, right? If so, why does she strive for it so much? Ex. "I love you," he said not looking at me. I knew this was hard for him, admitting something of such depth when he usually kept emotions this deep to himself. I let out a harsh, cold laugh, as if what he said was not funny at all but I was just cruel enough to taunt him for it. "No you don't. You love the image that I have. You love the girl that everyone sees me as, someone fake, someone perfect." The silence that followed proved just how right I was, he wanted an illusion and I couldn't give it to him.
