When Icarus fell into the sea, he wasn't found until weeks later, when Daedalus had finally given up searching. Now, his winged descendants live in the sky kingdom Empyrea, fighting an endless war with Icaria to save themselves from being bought and sold into slavery.

Desperate to find a way back home, he embarks on a journey, meeting familiar faces along the way. However, when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel finds himself on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when something starts to pull the strings on his mind and the world around him, it's clear something much more sinister is on the horizon. As such, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to choose. Whether living life as dragon...
