The Ripper has fallen, and the wreckage of his chaos tumbles down upon a grief stricken city. None more so than the London Assassin Brotherhood. Jacob and Evie are left with the emotional and literal scars of their estranged brethren's torrent of madness. 

With Evie bound to return to India, she fears she cannot leave her twin brother with the extent of the injuries he sufficed at the Ripper's hands. Desperate in need of someone to trust to take care of her brother, fate intervenes and her path naturally crosses yours - a newly unemployed nursemaid with a knack for caring for even the most stubborn of people.

However it soon falls clear that this is no ordinary sick patient... and there is much more to the story than first meets the eye. How long will it be before the Assassin's most pressing secret falls into your hands?
