The Heart of Power

The world of magic is dying. Mortem has plagued much of the outer lying city's of Saova. Magicians at the Royal Academy have been training since childhood to go out into the Field and find the source of the Mortem.
When Aurora's, Rory, uncle is shot and killed by tax collectors she has no choice but to reveal her abilities to the king's soldiers. Aurora has a curse as her mother would call it. Rory can hold certain power over life and death. Make plants grow and heal wounds. So when her uncle dies in front of her, her emotions take hold and she brings him back to life.
What will be in store for Rory now? guess you'll just have to find out :)
