It was my open seas, my cloud curtains and my wings to fly so free. I'm living in my own little world. And writing in my own peace.

Mahal na niya ito mula pa noong sila ay mga bata. Magkaibigan sila at si Iris ay umibig sa kanya ngunit tinanggihan siya nito. Pumunta ito sa Paris para iwasan siya. Sinundan ni Iris si Timothy sa Paris ngunit hindi niya ito nakita. Bago siya bumalik sa Pilipinas, nakita niya ito, kasama ang isang babae. Nagpasyang bumalik na siya sa Pilipinas at ituloy ang pangarap niyang maging abogada. Di nagtagal, nalaman niya na nagpakamatay ang kasintahan ni Timothy at ito ay lubos na nasasaktan dahil hindi niya ito nailigtas. Sinubukan nitong magpakamatay dahil sa pagkadismaya. Ngunit, pinauwi siya ng kanyang mga magulang sa Zambales at inayos ang kasal para sa kanya. Pinalitan ni Iris ang kasintahan nito bilang kanyang mapapangasawa. Ngunit ayaw niya rito, gayunpaman, hindi niya mababago ang desisyon ng kanyang mga magulang at sila ay nagpakasal. Trinato niya ito ng malamig dahil hindi pa rin niya nakakalimutan ang trahedya. Sinisisi niya ang sarili sa lahat at sinubukan pang magpakamatay muli.Complete

Maraming nagbago simula ng magkasakit ang kanyang papa. Nagkautang ng malaki sa banko ang kanilang pamilya. Halos lahat ng lupa at bahay na naipundar ng kanyang mga magulang ay naghalong para bula. Pero ayus lang ang mahalaga nadugtongan ang buhay ng kanyang papa. Pero pano nga ba kung isang araw magising na lang sila isang umaga na pati ang natitirang bahay at lupa na naipundar ng kanyang mga magulang ay mawawala narin at ang masaklap pa pati ang kanyang ama ay bilang na lang rin ang oras at araw na kanila itong makakasama! Kung kayo ang nasa sitwasyon ko? Bilang anak ano ang kaya ninyong gawin para sa inyong pamilya? Kaya ninyo kayang ipagpalit ang sarili ninyo kalayaan para sa buhay at kasiyahan ng inyong malapit ng mamayapang ama? Kaya ninyo kayang akuin ang mabigat na resposibilidad na kakaharapin na inyong pamilya? Pero kung ako ang tatanungin lahat kaya kung gawin kahit kapalit nito ay ang aking kalayaan. Pagdating sa aking pamilya di bale ng umiyak ako ng patago wag ko lang silang makitang luhaan.
