***COMPLETED***So get this... We've been living in a dystopian nightmare for 10 years now. Grandpa Alfred says it's the older generation's fault--well duh! To make matters worse, Bell, my twin sister, contracted "The Wasting." No doubt she caught it by helping the kids in the Forbidden Zones. That's where all the mutant freaks live. Not just your usual freaks but kids with missing limbs, half a face, twisted spines... My witch of a mother thinks it's from the nuke plants leaking after the purple lights lit up the skies. The preggo's babies turned into monsters. Due to Bell's bleeding heart she only has a month to live. Grandpa says he knows this invisible guy with a cure, (yeah right... what you've been sniffing Grandpa?) He's disappeared and so close to "Recycling" age. Now it's up to me and only me, Izzy Quest, a freaked out teen from Brooklyn, to save my dying twin sister. You may have guessed by now, I'm not the save-the-day-sort--Bell is. She's the sweet, honest, dependable, pretty twin. Don't believe me? Ask my lunatic of a mother. "You look like Bell; try acting like her." If Bell had to save me, she'd be all organized with sticky notes and a compass. Me? What do I have but OCD, a short fuse and a cynical attitude. Oh, but I can run--fast. I can outrun any boy in my school. Well, when there were schools. As of today, all schools are closed indefinitely. Thanks evil, New Regime! (Bell wants me to tell you our story is in 3rd person and not first person--whatever that means...) Find out what the Quest sisters are up to next! Read: "Escape From Fat Camp"

"Sometimes finding love is the CURE you need..." My name is Lexianna Kingsley, I've always admired planet Earth from afar. You see I live on the planet Venus, Earth's neighbor. I'm the Princess to be exact. I love my planet with all my heart and I would do anything for my people. As much as I love Venus the one thing i've always wished we had that Earth does is true love. On Venus we have arranged marriages. It starts from the day you were born. Your parents would pick out someone just for you either five days older or five days younger. Since I am a princess my arranged marriage would be to a Prince. I'm turning eighteen soon which means I will need to be wed to take over as Queen. Prince Aaron was picked out for me, though he seems nice that's not the loophole. Having an arranged marriage isn't the worst thing. It's that your parents start to disappear... no one knows why or how this happens it just does. As soon as you are married they start to go starting from legs and up. I can't let that happen not with my three year old brother Daniel in the picture. He can't loose my parents, I can't loose my parents. And that's what brought me to this point, the point where I have packed up all my things and I have started my adventure. My adventure to find the cure. I have a feeling that if I find real true love on the planet Earth it will be the cure to help not only my family but the people of my planet. I can only hope I can find the cure before my eighteenth birthday, before it's too late. ~Created and written by xInspiringWords/Samantha~

In the quiet desert village of Dey, living among the sand dunes and mirages, existed an anomaly - me. I was different, born without the ability to read, write or keep long memories. My scientist father hailed my uniqueness as a miracle, but my life was far from ordinary. To the village, I was just an oddity, a walking puzzle with missing pieces. My only solace was my best friend, always standing by me, his unspoken love for me etched in his affectionate gaze. We lived under a cruel regime with a population no more than a hundred. Every year, one of us would be chosen on the Counting Day, a ceremonious banishing ritual, to become yet another outcast to the floating prison island far off in the ocean - our village's dreaded version of population control. Our past criminals, defiant to government, and more terrifyingly, our loved ones gone missing, were thought to inhabit that island, their fate, a terrifying enigma. This year, as the Counting Day approached unrelentingly, and my loved one's life rested on borrowed time, I made a decision. I volunteered to be casted out. It was my turn to face the unknown with a hidden purpose - to locate my lost father who was sent there years ago.
