"What is your problem?" I asked after we were far enough away from my father's study.

"Excuse me," Enzo said lowly as he turned around.

"Spencer just wants to be happy and live her life how she chooses. Why can't you leave her alone?"

"I have my orders, Kora."

"Fuck your orders. I knew you two didn't get along, but I didn't know you hated her. You really are heartless" Even though I knew Enzo wouldn't do anything to me my heart was beating so intensely I swore he could hear it.

Enzo grabbed my arm tightly and dragged me into my room that was a few doors down.

"Stop acting like a brat and stay here while I deal with your coward of a sister," Enzo spoke knowing how deeply his words would cut.

I yanked my hand away from his grasp.

"Don't touch what isn't yours. Didn't your mother teach you that? Oh, wait..." I retorted.

Enzo lost his mother a couple of years ago when she got sick. I knew my words would sting but his words stung just as deep. My sister was no coward.

The Angel Effect

20 parts Complete

Elaine has always known what she's wanted. But when too-happy Minjae smashes her bike with his car, she isn't so sure anymore. ⋇⋆✦⋆⋇ Elaine, established and comfortable with her life as a university student, sees no need to venture out of her bubble. After all, she has to focus on her studies. But as the Angels, a group of contemporary dancers, drag her into spontaneity, and as one dancer in particular, Minjae digs up past memories Elaine wants to forget, her intricately-planned world begins to fade away. Elaine must learn to trust those who love her, and that maybe, a little chaos is just what she needs. belovedsun © 2021
