ZERO, follows the lives of two young girls struggling with an eating disorder.
Lisa is a 17 year old girl who is determined to achieve perfection in every aspect of her life; the most important things in which she needs to achieve perfection being her future career and weight.
Cherri is an 18 year old girl living with her mother and stepfather, her stepfather controls her every movement and Cherri wants to break free from his grasp.
Reading ZERO gives you an inside look onto what people with eating disorders are feeling and experiencing. The world someone with an eating disorder is living in can be complicated and heartbreaking to say the least. Nothing as held back as you see raw emotion through these two girls.

This is the edited version of my book The Weight Game that I wrote when I was 13-15. Aubrey has always been the ultimate target for bullies at her school. All she wants is to be good enough for once in her life. What happens when she goes online and finds a website called 'the weight game' where it teaches people quick ways to shed weight? and she takes the tips that tell her to fast, and purge? Never put someone down, because it will never help you reach the top. And never call a person fat, because you never know what they will do in order to prove you wrong.

The anonymous girl will figure out who the boy is and the messages get deeper as the two connect through their battles. Both teens will fight the battle 30 million people of all ages and gender battle in the U.S. ALONE. STORY MEANT TO RAISE AWARENESS IN MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS, NOT TO GLORIFY THESE ISSUES. Rita becomes strict with her eating, everyday the number of calories she eats gets lower and the amount of time she does cardio gets higher. She practices of managing her starvation by distracting it and never catches a break on the scale. Nobody is aware of it, it was something Rita doesn't want her friends or family to know, hiding her body from them didn't last long. Her mother noticed the dramatic weight change on her body. She tries to help her get back to her eating and tells her many times that she's "perfectly skinny" but nothing works. Her mother puts her foot down as Rita started to get ill, her mom takes her to a mental health hospital. She deals with consequences from her nurses and other patients.Complete

Background: I have an older brother named Chris, and a younger sister named Reagan. My parents picked our names last minute because they didn't really care about what they were going to name us. My family lives in a huge house in Texas. My dad is a doctor and my mom is a lawyer so our family is pretty much rich. My parents rarely pay attention to any of us because they never wanted us. They give us money every month so that we won't have to bother them when we need money for something. I could probably be happy about that if my life was actually good and not a living hell. My brother is 23 years old so he doesn't live with us anymore. He's really smart and he's been at Yale since he was 19. He's majoring in music. My little sister is 15 years old and she's super friendly. She's also really smart, but she doesn't act like it because she doesn't want to be judged.
