Vessels of the Stain

In a hardscrabble colony where terrible deeds must be done to survive, Lee Voclain entered Exemena House as an oblate. A gift to the order, raw and unfinished clay to shape into unnatural forms. All to contain the creeping stain, a gangrenous infection that blights the land and twists the minds of its inhabitants. Lee meant to become an Angel, a beacon and a vessel to drive the stain back. A serene form sent to protect new villages. Within the walls of Exemena House, she found people stranger than she thought, passions more intense. The angels were not what she thought they would be.
