Far in the future, a rift in space near Earth has appeared. [space company I didn't bother naming] sent a shuttle through and turns out there is a whole ass space ocean, now nicknamed the Solar Sea. Lazy, but it works. Yadda yadda, expedition happens, sudden encounter with an unknown big thing, one survivor remains with his AI bud.
