Since she was a kit, Toxic Stream wanted 3 things. 1) to prove to her brother she is strong, 2) become the first medicine cat of Brightclan, and 3) be Light Killer's mate. She didn't mind that she would have to break the code to do these things. And she did get her wish to be the first medicine cat of Brightclan...kind of. When a ALMOST fully trained Medicine cat apprentice from Nightclan comes with the time to be the medicine cat of Brightclan, Toxic Stream's father and leader takes her in. Hoping Toxic Stream thought that this new medicine cat was a fully trained one. But Toxic Stream knew. Getting more neglected each day, until she fell of a cliff and no one but Light Killer helping her, Toxic Streams life changed forever...

Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment.
