Casey Trivett is a 16-year-old girl, who lives with her sister and her dad in a town by the woods. Casey's sister's name is Nora Trivett. Casey's mother passed away three years ago, because of the flu. The woods are meant to be forbidden, but if one looks closely, they will see a little gap in between the wires in the fence. One day Casey and her friend go into the woods. They discover something there but must keep it a secret. When the police find out at Casey and her friend have been going in the woods, it is hard to keep the secret hidden.
