The tale of a princess who tried to escape after the mysterious death of her father and the murder of her mother.

She tried to escape but what about the man whom her parents had given scars that could never heal who had taken it upon himself to find her?

Jola lost her parents, and she was about to lose her life too. The palace guards were after her and she was doing all she could to be out of their view. She found a good place to hide, and to an extent, she felt safe.

However, the search team's torches were shining her way and worse still, there was the blazing eyes of one of the dogs locked with hers.

"Mom, where's dad?" A girl with bright (e/c) eyes and black (h/l) hair asked her mother, who's ears twitched frantically at the question. The dark red haired woman with purple eyes looked back at her daughter, biting her lip nervously. "Well, he's still busy." She replied, not looking her daughter in the eye. The girl's cheeks flushed a cherry red (like it always seemed to do when she was angry) and she glared at her mother sharply. "You always say that! But when will the answer be 'he's on his way?'" She demanded, tears dotting her eyes as she ran to her room. Her mother reached out towards her solemnly. "(Y/N) wait, please!" To no avail. The woman sighed, looking down at a picture that showed her, her husband and her daughter (Y/N). All happy and smiling. "When will you be back Josuke...?"
