This is a story that played in the back of my mind years ago while listening to Blue Oyster Cult, but it was forgotten about.
When my Papa was in the hospital for two weeks, fighting for his life, I tried to channel the emotions I felt during that period into this story. 
I am not sure where The Reaper is going to go from here, honestly. I have several ideas, though.

Horror is an interesting person, and by far the most difficult genre to get ahold of. It took me forever to convince him to sit down and have an interview with me, and most of the questions he answered by physically showing me what he wanted me to feel from him. He made me mourn, he made me panic, he made me feel lonely, he intensified my fears. I almost feel sorry for him now, because he can't feel love, or compassion. Just...a cold and pale creature; strong, bloodthirsty. His eyes hold all of the pain hiding in this world. He made me curious, and I paid for that curiosity in full. He showed me the souls of fallen heroes, screaming in the dark. He showed me what it feels like to be helpless to a force I can't control. He wrote me a narrative to read.
