Perri was left for dead on the forest floor. Used up and dying on the blood stained winter snow. But after her last breath escapes and her watery lashes lower for the last time Nature watches the horrid betrayal with tears in her eyes. And shaking her head fervently commands vines to cover her bare and broken body, and she saves her. When Perri's eyes reopen she has the power to control plants, talk to animals, and command elements. Her body is covered in vivid flower tattoos and her hair falls to her butt long and fiery red. And all you have to do is protect yourself and everyone you love from your ex best friend/sidekick --because let's face it that's the highest level of praise for a wretched traitor here--and you also have to get out of Super Holding somehow? Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it.
