Overtaken with the isolation, the two begin a physical relationship. While Jaden is convinced it is just a temporary dalliance to fill the void and means nothing, as the next two years roll on, he finds that Nick became a bit more attached than he had hoped. Notes: -While the basic storyline is based on true events, this is largely a work of fiction. Do not use this as a source for information on the people mentioned. Many real events and people were removed for the sake of brevity. Of the real life incidents referenced, some were combined or had the order changed. Also, some things that the author suspects to just be rumors invented by the enemies of the people involved to tarnish their names are treated as true for the sake of character development. -There are statements made by the characters that can be considered racist, sexist, antisemitic, et cetera, in addition to statements surrounding covid and election denial.
