Derek shepherd is a retired neurosurgeon, now in the line of fire as an FBI agent. His and Meredith's marriage was very messy and falling apart faster than it had come together, with the helping hand of his new found abusive nature.
He meets a man who seems vaguely familiar, but brushes it off. Little did he know, he had met the man who would be many things, if not everything to him. He would also have met the man who nearly ended his life, just a few short months ago.
