In this book, we see the lives of several characters. They lead many different lives, and they each have different stories to tell. But they all have one thing in common. They are the Sundowners of Goldenhare Boulevard.

The majority of this book takes place from the perspective of the Periwinkle family, following the matriarch of the family, Scarlett and her children. Their story takes place in parts between the 1930s and the 1980s and shows many cultural events and shifts throughout the 20th Century. 

However, there will also be bits and pieces from the perspective of other characters too, but these characters all live within the same universe. 

Warning: this book contains a heavy use of strong language through. This book also deals with a lot of heavy topics such as violence, warfare, death, suicide, murder, mental health issues, and drug abuse. Reader discretion is advised.
