Matthew is just seventeen years old, yet he's been through situations tougher than most adults could imagine. His cynical yet down-to-earth attitude often leaves him with mixed feelings toward his struggles in life. Conflicted and confused, Matthew befriends Emma, a high school student going through similar challenges in life. Their relationship is unsuspected, but together, they work to patch each other's bruises. Before they know it, they have love on their hands.
