Do you remember where you were the day the end began?
What would you give to protect what was yours from others who wanted to make it theirs?
A decision must be made and there are two options; death, and something so dire, that death seems like the obvious option. What will the choice be?
Follow along as bonds are formed, lives are lost, and decisions are made that one just has to live with.

Brandon Grant has never been ordinary, even before he was given significant power. Grandson of Zeus, heir to a fading dynasty, he has walked among humanity carrying a spark of generations in his soul. For sixteen years he has lived in the shadows, but the stars are calling, and destiny will no longer wait. This isn't just the rise of a hero-it's the dawn of a cosmic symphony, an odyssey written in lightning across nebulae and galaxies. The stage is set, the curtain lifts, and from the storm of worlds, a single question emerges... will he be Victorious? **Disclaimer** **Disclaimer** **Disclaimer** Throughout this universe I talk about a multitude of topics, religion, racism, drug use, Philosophy, abuse and a variety of triggers, I ask that if anyone takes the time to read this to understand that none of the negative aspects of humanity fall into my core beliefs as a human being, but rather are used in the overall grand scheme of storytelling. I DO NOT condone discrimination, abuse, torture, drug use, racism in any way, and I would appreciate if we treat everyone with respect, my work is not a dogma to spread hate or misinformation. This story is an embellished retelling of childhood events from my life and my friends. If anyone feels offended or finds themselves triggered by any of these topics I implore you to put your mental health above all else. Thank you for your time!

The world of video games was fun, joyful, and endlessly entertaining. However, it was always an illusion-everything was fake in the end. Companies tried to create better games, but one surpassed them all. Immersition Company, the most powerful tech corporation in the world, developed a revolutionary video game. Despite its innovation, the company decided to test it first. Among the few people who applied for the trial, Max was one of them. Scientists claimed the test was complete. The probability of any error was just 0.001%. Anyone would have said the code was flawless. But reality proved otherwise. A catastrophic error occurred inside the game. Whoever died in the game, died in the real world. The job Max had always dreamed of became a digital nightmare. Now, he must face deadly trials, mind-twisting puzzles, and nearly impossible enemies. The only way out: collect all the shards scattered throughout the game. Max must change-or perish. Will he make it back to his world, or die lost between lines of code? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you're interested in seeing the end of this story, use this link: https://app.glitchy.ai/sign-up?rid=152493. Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

When you are told something, you are given a choice; to believe somebody or not. Let me give you a situation, okay? So, you and your 9 year old brother are walking along the train tracks by your house. He sees something, like a monster. Okay, okay, I hear you already going "What the heck?" Just trust me, okay? He's scared out of his LIFE. "It's fine, bro," you'd say. Then he runs off. Grabbed his bag and left. "It can't be real..." you now say to yourself, "It can't be real..."
