Ever since you got lost in the woods at the age of 3, Stoick took you in. You have features of different animals, wings similar to dragons, wolf ears, you were a hybrid. You and hiccup got along like two peas in a pod he's been your best friend, as the years went by you still had the biggest crush on Astrid. You and hiccup were just apprentices to Gobber while the other kids got to help when the dragons attacked, you weren't exactly trusted with the work since your a hybrid, and Hiccup was well, just weak. Until one day you 2 would find a way to train dragons.
(Since your a hybrid and for a hybrid to tame a dragon the dragon would have to send some of their magic into you creating a mark someone on your body, imagine it wherever you want. )

They were lost in the woods for days upon days and miraculously had discovered a night fury, one of dad's greatest fears and very endangered but Y/N just couldn't kill it. Upon finding it Y/N tried to go back to berk to tell everyone about it but couldn't as they were scooped up by the night fury and brought to a beautiful island with abundant food and water supply. Overtime they had became friends and As berk was mourning Y/N was training a dragon, crazy if you think about it. Y/N overtime met new dragons and studied them for days upon days and slowly knew how to train all dragons of any class.
