Daisy, 23, married Jon when she was only 19yrs old. She thought he was the greatest guy on earth after her brother kicked her our at 18. The death of their parents was so fresh and she was left to raise their baby sister. Daisy and her sister moved to Florida to live with their aunt, and that is where she met Jon.
Jon was a local hero after saving a baby from a burning car when he was on his way to the fire station for his shift. He used his fame as far as it would take him and wanted more. After meeting Daisy he thought he could control her and she would worship him for all that he did. When she didn't he grew abusive towards her.
Daisy gets away but only to be caught by a tall handsome deputy named Roy. Roy had his share of heartache and became a deputy to save the women he couldn't as a child. Now he has this blue eyes wonder in front of him and she is in deep trouble.
Will Roy be able to save Daisy before it's too late?
Will Daisy find peace and love again?

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk?
