15 years ago a civil war broke out in the Deadcrest pack. Over a 1/3 of the pack was lost and the war only ended when the Alpha killed his own brother and his mate who had lead the resistance. Ever since that day Aurora has been at the mercy of her uncle with her life steadily going downhill to the point she became the poster child for obedience. Not only did she do everything her uncle ordered, she took everything he threw at her. From daily beatings, to being the yearly display of his victory she took it all without complaint and gave up hope of ever leaving the pack.
That is until one night during the Goddess Blessings the pack was attacked. She thought she was safe in the pack house where her uncle had ordered her to stay...but boy was she wrong. Despite hiding and being completely silent the Alpha of the attacking pack found her and took her away.
