Valtrop, where Spirits and humans are symbiotic, is ruled by oppressors called Boors. The Boor king uses all techniques necessary to ensure that the Spirits living in every man, woman and child in Valtrop remain sleeping.
A Spirit is that part of a human which allows the person to connect with Nature and harness its Magic. With the knowledge of Spirits being banned, no one in the present world knows how to awaken or use their Spirit.
19-year-old Abria must use her skills to fight against the oppression of the Boors with the help of only a handful of rebels while being in an unwanted engagement with her childhood friend Alec.
Little does she know her part in the war is much more than that of a soldier...
